Hey there! There have been so many new releases this month. So far I’ve finished quite a few of them and there are definitely some worth checking out!

  1. Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi was incredible. It brought back all of the characters I loved from the first 3 books in the Shatter Me series, but introduced me to a whole new world. I don’t want to say too much just in case you haven’t read the first 3 books in the series, but WOW. I gave it 4.5 stars and it probably will go up to 5 stars after I see how the last 2 books in the series play out. By the end of the book I was just starring in shock because I loved it so much, but definitely felt like WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!
  2. Hero At the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton¬†was the final book in the Rebel of Sands series. If you haven’t read the series, it takes place in a Wild West meets Middle East setting. It sounds like a strange mix of elements, but honestly it REALLY works. It’s a high fantasy series and definitely one of my favorites. In this final book, there is a lot of fighting and ups and downs. It’s bittersweet because in order to get to the end the characters go through so much. When I finished the book I actually reread the same page over and over again because it was so beautifully written. This one got 4.5 stars from me and the whole series was definitely worth the read.
  3. Olivia Twist by Lori Langdon was cute! If you want a light hearted, low-commitment book, this one is for you. This story is about the girl version of Oliver Twist. Olivia Brownlow grows up on the streets, but ends up in high society when she meets her long-lost uncle who takes care of her. Although she is now well-cared for, she still longs to help the orphans who are still out on the dangerous streets of London. One day she runs into, Jack MacCarron, the “nephew” of a lady in high society, however she remembers him as a boy she once knew in a London street gang. Together they navigate their new world, but as they do that, they can’t quite forget their pasts.
  4. Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller¬†is the second book in The Daughter of the Pirate King series. First off, PIRATES, SIRENS, AND ROMANCE *squeals*. I am about to start this one and the reviews on Goodreads are very positive! I’m definitely expecting lots of adventures and action.

It’s going to be such an exciting year of book releases. I’m already putting together a summer books to-read list and will be putting it up soon in case you guys want to pre-order! What books are you currently loving?
